Middle Level

Wright Academy Middle Level

The 7th & 8th grade Middle Level program at Wright Academy offers an alternative curriculum that is academically challenging and meaningful, in an environment that addresses a student's individual academic and social/emotional needs to maximize their success in the classroom and beyond.

The program is designed as a single classroom environment, with class sizes of no more than twelve students. The student day consists of a homeroom, academic and elective classes and WIN (What-I-Need) time. During homeroom, students focus on their social emotional needs before starting their academic day. Students will receive the majority of their academic instruction from a core teacher, with additional teachers supporting classes. The school social worker and counselor are available throughout the day to assist with student needs.
